Privacy Statement

Short version

Safe Online Academy (Scam Spotter Test and Online Safety Test) does not ask for, collect, or store any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no name fields anywhere in either quiz.

What we don't collect

• No names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses
• No accounts, logins, or passwords
• No analytics or advertising trackers
• No tracking cookies

What stays on your device

Your chosen language, quiz mode, and text-size setting are saved only in your browser's local storage, on your own device. We never see this information, and it never leaves your device.

The shareable result image

The score card you can download or share at the end of a quiz is drawn entirely in your browser. It contains only your score and a tier name, nothing personal, and is never uploaded or sent to us. Sharing it anywhere is entirely your choice.

Third-party services we rely on

• Google Fonts – loads type from Google's servers, which means your browser makes a direct request to Google to fetch fonts when a page loads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Hosting provider – like any website, our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We don't access this for tracking purposes.
• Feedback form – if you choose to use our optional feedback form, it is hosted on Microsoft Forms and governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement. Any contact details you type there are entirely optional and up to you.

Kids & teens

The Online Safety Test is built for younger users with the same rule as the rest of the site: it does not ask for or collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
